Mary

As someone who works with disability in public schools and grew up with disability in the family, as a woman, and as a minority, I stand with the disempowered and vulnerable. There are people who feel threatened in their own home country as rights may be taken away and who feel like family abroad may be under danger, and I count myself among them. However, I want to be a part of the America that cares and loves all its people, that I believe will show itself to be what I’ve had faith in all my life in spite of the signs that may indicate I have been wrong. America is the land of the free and home of the brave, and this is why I march.
