Reason I’m joining the online march: I am not able to join the physical march, because of numerous health issues, as well as an upcoming knee surgery on Wednesday. I want to “march” because I believe people in this country should have a voice, and that together we can make a statement to Washington that ALL people are valuable,regardless of race, sexual orientation or religion, Let us learn from our mistakes and human rights violations of the past and inform our new government that its citizenry is wonderfully diverse, and harassment, prejudice, and taking away the rights of the people will not be tolerated.

I am a member of the United Methodist Church, and committed to the message that we send out that all are welcome at God’s table.
