I’m joining the disability march after a rough 7 weeks. I had an abdominal hysterectomy and second surgery and I am still not fully healed. I tire way to easily for walking long distances. I am doing this because to me, silence is consent. I do not consent to the way our current president campaigned, his comments and treatment of women, the disabled, and anyone he deemed “less than worthy” in his eyes. I do this to say NO! That is not OK! I do this also, for my 11 year old daughter. I want her to see you CAN do something. Anything. Just try. Just give love and support to those who are treated unfairly. Spread kindness and acceptance, not hatred. Stand on the right side of history!
