I have systemic arthritis which limits how far I can walk. I want to participate in the women’s march to demonstrate that I do not support the president elect or his policies or cabinet appointees. As a retired teacher I am especially appalled by his putative SecEd.
I have been a Fat Activist since 1979 to expose the falsehoods of popular diet culture. As a member of an oppressed segment of the population I am horrified by the growing hatred expressed with more virulence since the election of a person with oppression as part of his agenda.
