Sam

I am joining the disability march in order to fight for healthcare, women’s rights, and the equality of all people. As a person with Lyme disease who has mobility problems, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue, I cannot attend a march in-person, but nonetheless, I wish to stand with my American brothers, sisters, and other siblings in opposition of hatred and inequality.

I have had chronic Lyme disease since I was ten years old and come out of remission three times since. While in remission, I have run half marathons, raced on cross country teams, skied multiple times per week during the winter, and volunteered; however, Lyme prevents me from doing such things during relapses. I am passionate about reading, writing and mathematics.
