Sarin Lerner

Why I march: I proudly join the disability march as I am still recovering from cesarean delivery of my baby girl in December. I march because I believe in a better world and future for my children and myself. I want to live where the glass ceiling doesn’t exists and everyone has equal and free access to healthcare, education, and family leave. We are stronger together and it’s time to build each other up not tear each other down.

Who I am: Person, wife, mother, friend, LCSW, and former teacher who is tired of the way things are. Tired of the lack of importance and support the human experience gets over the importance of the dollar. Tired of disconnection between the masses and unnecessary hatred of our fellow man. I am tired and I am hopeful.
