Joining the disability march is such a great opportunity for those of us who aren’t physically able to be there in person, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. The Women’s March is a show of solidarity for women from all walks of life: every race, belief, lifestyle, and occupation. Our voices are needed now more than ever because our very lives are at stake; our health and safety, our ability to have dominion over our bodies, our opportunities for equality, for education, for supporting our families, and our voices in freedom or protest are all in danger of being stripped from us. This administration is not about making America great, it’s about giving our rights to the highest bidder, to corporate stooges who would rule over us all and blot out those freedoms which this country was founded on. They do not believe in preserving life, in helping those in need, in raising up the down-trodden, in healing the earth, in coming together as a Nation of Great People. We’ve got to fight them with everything we have now because no one else will and tomorrow will be too late. We have to save ourselves and those around us if we’re to have a future.

I’m the Mom of an amazing LGBT kid, the Wife of a big-hearted & funny guy, and a Senior Business Analyst who tackles corporate politics everyday by finding the middle ground and helping people talk & listen to one another instead letting them be driven by ego or fear. I live with chronic pain in my spine & muscles, but I’m a fighter too.  I’m a Writer at heart who is learning to let my creativity flow & not let my fear overwhelm me. I also tend to be a pessimistic optimist, learning to fight for Hope no matter what.
