Because I fear for the disabled like myself who fall farther and farther behind due to our illnesses and Republican proposals that will withdraw our healthcare and our access to care. I wish I could be in Washington, however, my illness would make that impossible. I deeply fear for my own future under this administration (I have a SSDI case pending) and those of others living with disabilities that make us unable to work. We are not lazy or moochers, we are ill, like anyone can become. We cannot stop fighting this administration’s policies after Saturday, we must remain vigilant for the next four years!
