I am alarmed by the haste with which the Republicans in Congress are dismantling all the good that Obama has done over the past eight years. I hope that they won’t succeed in destroying his legacy entirely. I fear for the future that we will be leaving our children unless we do everything we can to oppose Trump and the Republican agenda. I marched against the Vietnam War and against nuclear proliferation when I was young. I can no longer march due to the effects of mylagic encephalomyelitis and degenerative joint disease. I’m glad to have the opportunity to be there in spirit.
