I am a single mother of an 18 year old daughter. She & I both have invisible illnesses that literally and financially disable us. Our immune systems fight against us daily. I can no longer work. Without the Affordable Healthcare Act I would not be able to afford coverage. Without coverage I would be unable to receive my $50,000/month treatments & medications not to mention the tests that track the progression of my diseases.
It is appalling to me that a man so racist and egocentric is our new President. I raised my daughter to believe women are equal, all races are equal, sexuality doesn’t matter. Now the leader of our country could wipe out our efforts to create a fair country. Love trumps hate.
