“Use what talent you possess. The woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best.” Henry Van Dyke

Statement of why I’m joining:
As the great great niece of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, I cannot stand by and watch from the sidelines as we enter a season of fear and hate and fear encouraged by statements made by President Trump during his campaign. Instead of hiding my head in the sand as he moves forward with his agenda, I choose to fight. I choose to stand with those he has targeted. We have come too far to allow our daughters to be subjected to objectification.
Biography:
I am a 60-year-old retired teacher with chronic migraine syndrome and fibromyalgia. I write young adult, new adult, and middle grade fantasy novels. I have been married for 33 years, have no kids, and two small terrible terriers. I go trail-walking and hiking with my husband and friends. I dream of a world similar to that envisioned by Gene Rodenberry of Star Trek fame where we’ve used our corporate creative talent to eliminate prejudice, disease, and horrible fast food.
