A young woman with light brown hair and brown eyes smiles at the camera. She is in a park on a sunny day and wearing a coral sleeveless blouse.

Due to chronic depression and anxiety, I am not able to join the march on Saturday. I was diagnosed with PTSD following a sexual assault. I would not be where I am today without the complete change in rhetoric while I was in college that convinced me to tell my story and heal. If you have been through sexual assault or abuse, it does not lessen you as a person. It is not your fault. No one has the right to grab you or do anything without your consent, no matter what Trump says.
