I am participating in the virtual march because my family will be deeply impacted if the agenda of this administration is achieved. My husband has a rare lung disease that costs $50k a month to treat. Without his medication, he would die in a matter of weeks. oldest son is transgender. Our younger son has autism. Both of my boys face having their civil rights stripped away by the incoming President, even though it’s for different reasons. I am disabled and Medicare and Social Security are our safety net. My husband lost his political job due to his boss not being re-elected, so that’s our only income for now.
