I’m marching as someone concerned about respect for disabled people and the future of healthcare. I have an invisible disability and it’s frustrating to see the lack of support or consideration of disabled people in many spaces, although some places do well and accommodate. Beyond disability, I am concerned about the incompetence, financing, and anti-science views that are being propagated in the upcoming government.

Bio: I am a 24 year old graduate student in New York. I study the effects of extreme weather events and habitat management on wildlife, particularly species of conservation concern. I have chronic pain and other complications from a head injury. My experiences as a disabled person have taught me a lot about empathy for others, whether visibly disabled or not.
