Why I Am Joining The March : I have dealt with mental illness all of my life. I am agoraphobic with severe anxiety and medication resistant depression. In addition, I have active and chronic back problems. These chronic illnesses keep me from being the productive citizen I wish to be.

I fight to heal myself and become a contributing member of society. However, under Trump and the current sitting Congress, if the ACA is repealed and the pre-existing condition clause and mental health parity are lost, I may lose my health coverage and will no longer be able to afford treatment and medication, along with any future surgeries I may need. This is a life or death issue for me, and many thousands of others who walk in the same shoes.
