I am joining the Disability March because I refuse to be invisible just because my illnesses are. I won’t be silent and allow my world to be changed.
On top of the gold star for chronic illnesses, I run the Des Plaines Chronic Pain Group which is 70 members strong. Suffering silently with Gastroparesis, Fibromyalgia, Peripheral Neuropathy, PoTS, Diabetes, PTSD and more; I will be silent no longer. We deserve to be heard, healed and cared for as humans not stared at like we are less than that for ability aides.
