I am joining the march because I want to feel safe and I want my family to be safe. As a queer chicana woman I deserve the right to exist without oppression. My family and communities deserve the right to exist, thrive, and live freely from persecution.

I am Dafne a brown fat queer femme from rural California. I’m currently navigating higher ed as  PhD student all the while juggling chronic illness, a new marriage, crippling anxiety and grief, and healing.
