I am joining the Disability March because I could not just sit here and do nothing at all. My medical condition interferes with my physical ability to march, but it will never be an excuse not to show support and solidarity and raise my voice alongside others. Whether it’s in person or virtually, taking a stand against evil is something that unites this country. That human connection that was felt in the days after 9/11 was not a fluke…America means Community, and she will rally again and again so long as there are people willing to take their neighbors’ hands and stand with them in the name of helping others.
I am a graphic designer living in North Carolina.
