Jan Logan

Jan has shoulder-length brown hair and glasses and is wearing a grey shirt. Her right arm has a purple cast and is resting on a pillow.

I am severely disable with osteoarthritis. I have had two knee replacements, one hip replacement, two thumb reconstructions (hence the cast in the photo), and major back surgery. The back surgery failed and, as a result, I cannot stand for more than ten minutes and I cannot walk more than three blocks. But I am marching on Washington in spirit and will continue to support the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Episcopal Relief and Development, and local crisis ministries, as well as the arts.

“Ring the bells that still can ring,
Forget your perfect offering,
There’s a crack in everything.
That’s how the light gets in…”
Leonard Cohen (September 21, 1934 – November 7, 2016)
