I am joining this march in solidarity with my sisters who are unable to physically be in Washington for the march. I am a two time cancer survivor and am currently recovering from a car accident that has greatly affected my mobility. I am one of those folks whom without the Affordable Care Act would likely not be alive or able to obtain coverage. Thank you to Obama and thank you to the wonderful ladies who created this movement. I don’t feel so helpless anymore.
