Why I Am Joining The March:
I am virtually joining my sisters from Flawless Brown, an artist collective for women of color at Emerson College, and the other students of Emerson. Having Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, the march was just not possible for my body but now I am able to stand with my sisters fighting for the right to have control over our own bodies, the recognition of trans women, and to help uplift the voices of other women who share any of my identity as a queer, disabled women of color.

Flawless Brown’s goal is to develop socially conscious art while building sisterhood bonds between women of color. We have departments that cover a wide range of interests such as theatre/performing arts, visual/media arts like TV and film, writing/publishing, marketing and comedy. Check out some of our projects on our website!
