I am joining the disability march because I believe that no one should be withheld rights based on factors that are out of their control. As a queer, transgender, nonbinary, handicapped person of the female sex who grew up poor, Trump stands against everything I am and everything I stand for. I am tired of watching friends break down and become SUICIDAL because of fear of the country this man-child represents. If I can’t bring him down myself, then I will do everything in my power to make as loud a statement as I can; we will not stand for this.

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a condition that affects all connective tissue in my body and subjects me to chronic pain and injury just from going about my daily life. If I participate in local physical marches, even with my cane, I may not be able to return to work on Monday because of the risk of exacerbating the minor injuries I already have, so I am participating in this online march.
