Why I Am Joining The March : I am a 19-year old queer white person with a non-named (but still diagnosed) chronic illness and anxieties. My family is going to the Women’s March and, while I wish I could join them, I hope to create hope and be an activist in ways more complimentary to my needs. Every day it is a challenge to wake up in Trump’s America and still get out of bed. The world feels devoid of any hope right now. But I believe the Women’s March can be the first of many shows of unity and humanity that can bring us hope in such a dark time. Solidarity & love!
