I’m joining the online march because lupus interferes with my ability to be “normal”. Too often, lupus isn’t taken seriously. It’s considered a woman’s disease and women simply are not important. I’m joining the march because women are important. Women’s health concerns are important. Ignoring them won’t make them go away. Maybe they can shame us one by one into being silent, but if we all stand up together, we can – and will – be heard.
