My partner and I were planning to join the march in D.C. but had to cancel due to financial constraints and shaky health–we are both at home batting sinus infections. And for me, these last 7 months of surgery, medical tests, and infections have taken a toll on my body; so though I am heartbroken to be home resting instead of marching alongside so many fierce women I admire, my heart is certainly there beating with every step they take.
