I’m joining this march because I have several mental illnesses, the combination of which keep me from participating in a physical march. I’m severely concerned about the implications of Trump’s presidency on my health care. I have some physical ailments but they do not affect my life like my mental illnesses do. I’m worried about not only losing healthcare benefits for mental health, but I’m worried about the increase in violence against those with disabilities and the lack of mental health training first responders have.
