Heather Corini Aspell

I’ve lived with multiple chronic illnesses since childhood, and am physically disabled. Since becoming unable to work I’ve dedicated my energy to patient and disability advocacy. I’m extremely fearful of the ways that a Trump presidency will harm disabled and chronically ill individuals. As someone who relies on costly treatments to manage my rare diseases (dermamyositis & systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis) I’m terrified of how a repeal of the ACA’s ban on lifetime coverage limits will affect my treatment options. I’m on SSDI & Medicare and fear cuts to those vital programs. Because of my physical limitations I’m unable to attend the march in DC or here in Los Angeles but still want to show my support!
