I stand in solidarity with you to encourage inclusion, understanding and acceptance. I have an auto-immune disorder, but I’m lucky that I can usually power through it when I need to. Crippling social anxiety on the other hand creates some crazy battles in my head. This week anxiety won. I am holding a sign with bits of lyrics to the song, ‘This Woman’s Work’ by Kate Bush. Women are constantly working to better ourselves and the lives of those around us. We carry mighty weights on our shoulders and always seem to manage that little bit extra whenever the calls arises. We are strong! We can do this too!
I am a maker of things and member of the LGBTQ community. I believe in kindness and taking care of the living things on this planet. I have an evolving site related to supplying sanitary products to people in need. It started with making pads for school girls in Uganda, then Guatemala, and now I am looking into product drive for local shelters.
