Even though I now live closer to DC than I have ever lived in my life, I am unable to attend the march. It is very difficult for me to attend events with large crowds. My anxiety becomes paralyzing. It is my hope that as we march for women’s rights we shine a light on women’s health issues. Specifically, women’s mental health, which too many of us live with day in and day out, needs to continue to be brought to the political forefront.
