Why I Am Joining The March: I was so glad to find the disability march! I have enough COPD that walking any distance is really a chore. And I really wanted to participate because this is a huge historic event. (Imagine a paper pussy hat please.) It blows me away that we’re still arguing over contraceptive rights, women’s rights, equal pay, right to an abortion – this feels like a second, or is it third or fourth chance.  I’m also a grandmother – two granddaughters and two grandsons – and my heart longs for their future to be safe and kind.
