I have arthritis and am not able to participate in either the Washington or Sacramento, CA marches, although I would LOVE TO! I am 69-years-old and was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I am very concerned about the ACA and even Medicare and Social Security being repealed or privatized, as many people will lose their services or even die! I am also very concerned about the incoming administration’s lack of concern for the disabled and the callous disregard for women’s issues as well as issues around immigration, the environment, global warming, and education. I have been working in the mental health field for many years and am a mental health crisis worker. I see many people with mental health and substance abuse issues, as well as many who are homeless and in poverty. I am very concerned about funding that may be lost for various social programs, especially housing, substance abuse and mental health programs. I am also terrified of this president having the nuclear codes, as he has shown himself to be impulsive and reckless. I am with you in spirit, and would love to be able to attend in person.
