Why am I joining in this way? I have chronic pain due to a spinal disorder and a chronic illness that affects my joints, leading to constant knee dislocations. Most people wouldn’t know this just by looking at me, because I seem physically abled. I want to protest and have my voice heard, especially as a queer non-binary person. But it seems that the only way to do so in my area is to go into the streets, which involves standing, walking, and possible running from police/opposing protesters. I don’t want others to continue calling me lazy because of my disabilities. I want equal rights for all of my identities. I want Trump to know that he’s not my president.
