I am marching today so that as women we reach our full stride without hurting or hindering someone else.

To me that means all of us – whatever race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or who we support politically.

That in the face of hateful and discriminating rhetoric, unequal opportunity we stand together true.

That we work civically with respectful and unrelenting determination to bring our lives, our country into equal social and economic balance.

For me this also includes the men in our lives and in our nation –

“Indivisible with Liberty  and Justice for All.”
