This is my 92-year-old mother, who was a community activist in the 1960s, 70s,and 80s. We marched as a family in the urban city streets of Oakland. And we believe that our voices still count. Although she is unable to be there, she was strengthened when I told her of the continuing effort and spirit commuting on Jan 21. Power to the People!
