Colleen has shoulder-length light brown hair and a denim shirt. She is smiling for the camera.

I have myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), a disabling disease that inhibits the body’s ability to generate energy and exchange oxygen. I am mostly homebound.

I am grateful for an opportunity to march virtually. I run a support group for people with ME, CFS, Fibromyalgia, Gulf War Illness, and chronic Lyme Disease which can be found on Facebook at North Carolina and Ohio M.E./FM Support Group. I also volunteer at www.MEadvocacy.org.
