I am standing (or in this case sitting) in solidarity with my friends in the US. The attack on women’s rights (and on disability rights, when they’re mentioned at all) is distressing and upsetting. Disabled people here in the UK still get a raw deal, and it is thought the strength and advocacy of amazing activists that stories get told and minds get changed. We’re thinking of you today. Stay strong. Stay safe. We’ll be watching.
