I support the cause of the march and just want to be counted. Women’s right’s matter. Healthcare matters.  Minorities matter.  Religious inclusions matters.  Inclusiveness matters.  Love, not hate and discrimination, must prevail.

I march because protecting privilege will never lead to progress.

I march so that those upholding patriarchy and white supremacy in the laws or in their hearts hear me: YOU CANNOT AND WILL NOT WIN. Chronic illness has radically shifted the experience and course of my life.  Nothing has been left untouched: my friendships, my marriage, my mental health, my hopes for children, my finances,…

Now, as I join (through Facebook) friends who are marching in Washington, I am a real, legitimate part of this historic event in my own right. This means the world to me.

We will fight against all the hateful rhetoric, and all measures that belittle, demean, or rob us of our rights (or our benefits – which are NOT entitlements)!

Retired university professor. Always been involved with women’s issues. Experienced a lot of sexism.

I’m joining because I’m a single, disabled woman – and it’s ridiculously hard to live like that.

I’m marching because Trumps sexist views are devastating to years of campaigning for equal rights.

I want to march to show I care for and respect all people, even those I don’t understand or who outwardly aren’t like me.
