Stephanie Mann

My name is Stephanie Mann. This is a photo of me in front of a hibiscus bush during one of our walks, it was taken on a good day for me.  I live on Eielson Air Force Base, AK.  I hope to be marching with my college-aged kids and everyone else in Fairbanks.  I don’t think I’ll have to stay home but Cushing’s disease, chronic debilitating nerve pain, and/or the weather might make me watch from the sidelines.
I want to march to show I care for and respect all people, even those I don’t understand or who outwardly aren’t like me. I want to march to demonstrate that whatever happens, it won’t be because of me, or what I do or don’t do. And, I want to march to show that I am willing to do anything to make sure everyone has the same rights and freedoms, enjoying life to it’s fullest, like I’ve been fortunate enough to do.  I wish I could do more after this and, hopefully, this will spark some volunteering ideas for me to do after all the hoopla.
Thank you for this resource.  Now I can feel a part of an event near to my heart and the organizers will know I am behind them and the movement!
Sincerely,
Stephanie Mann
