I have marched on Washington many times. Being a presence in the women’s community has been important to me for my entire adult life. I cannot march now because I have chronic pain and fibromyalgia. I struggle to even walk on some days. And traveling is also hard. So I will participate through the disability march. I “stand” strong with all of you, making a statement that we are here and we will not be silent.
I am a Black lesbian chef middle school science teacher mother married to a supportive wife who cares for me and people with Post Traumatic Stress, living in Texas and missing the East Coast. 2016 was a really hard year for me. I’m trying to maintain hope. Maybe the Patriots will help me feel better. Sorry Ravens. Next year….
