I was born & raised in Chicago. I believe strongly in equality for all people regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation. I believe in unions, voting rights for all Americans & the words on the Statue of Liberty, “Give me your tired, your poor…”
I was a single mother & raised two children that I am very proud of. They are raising their children with the same principles I was raised with & raised them with. I now live in Northern California, where I have worked in customer service for a technology company for over 30 years. Every day I try to help customers, knowing that often having a seemingly small problem solved can make a positive difference in their day & how they treat others. I have been married for almost 10 years to a very kind, generous, supportive & loving man.
I want to participate in the Womens March because the rights of all human beings are of utmost importance to me. I wish I could participate physically but my arthritic right knee & recent major surgery prevent me from doing so.
My heart will be with all those marching!
Thank you for this opportunity to participate!
