I am joining the Disability March because disability discrimination and disrespect, bigotry, racism, homophobia, misogyny, etc. have no place in the White House, in government, or in our country. Repealing the Affordable Care Act is harmful to people with disabilities, preexisting conditions, and all those who will lose their health insurance.
I have ME/CFS (myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.) This disease has left me disabled, unable to walk a block without serious and bed-confining relapses. The federal government has already discriminated against this disease. I am horrified that this disease discrimination will likely get worse under a Trump administration and Republican controlled congress who are already working to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
