I am joining the march to honor my three daughters, granddaughter, & great granddaughter, my grandson & the women & men in our lives. I want them all to live in a world where women & others who are different from them are respected and have equal opportunity to live as they wish, are free to control their own bodies, & destinies. I am also marching for peace, compassion, protection of our environment, & an end to hate & violence.

I am a 67-year-old disabled/retired pediatric nurse practitioner, registered nurse, clinical nurse specialist, & nursing educator living with a spinal cord injury as a tetraplegic from a car accident in 2005.
