I am marching for the rights of all people in this country, but especially for the individuals and communities whose humanity is being attacked, devalued, and denied. I am a woman, a bisexual, a rape survivor, a trauma survivor, and someone who suffers from chronic mental and physical health challenges. It has never been an easy road, but in the past months feeling valued and safe has been a battle for me and the people I hold dear. I am standing up with grief and anger and fear and hope and determination to fight with feminist, queer, survivor, disability, POC, Muslim, transgender, low SES, immigrant, and science communities.
I am a full-spectrum doula providing support to individuals and families through a variety of pregnancy and reproductive health experiences including (abortion, pregnancy, postpartum, bereavement, and adoption). I specialize in caring for trauma survivors and those with chronic illnesses. You can learn more about the work I do with Cascades Abortion Support Collective (www.cascadesabortionsupport.org), Portland Doula Love (www.portlanddoulalove.com), and Brief Encounters (www.briefencounters.org).
