Janette Murray

My name is Janette Murray and I am recently disabled.

I want to march because I believe in equality. Equality for all. Equality of the sexes, marriage is made of love no matter the sex (LGBT rights), woman have the right to decide what to do with their bodies and reproductive organs (Planned Parenthood). I believe in progress and moving forward (All lives matter). I believe in what my forefathers fought so hard to gain (yes, I can proudly say my ancestors fought in the Revolution): our independence from the Royal monarchy.
The United states was (for better or worse) founded on freedom.

Freedom from oppression, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, free to live in a land without tyranny.

Many people from many nations built this country and we became a refuge for immigrants fleeing their own country in hopes of a better life here. Unless you are Native to this land we are ALL immigrants.

The statue of Liberty has been a beacon of hope for millions and it should remain that way. Giving aid to our fellow human beings no matter where they are on this earth when needed and not just closing our eyes to the brutality they live in/with.

I believe in the separation of Church and State. Politics and Religion should NOT mix.

I believe that we are a strong voice and we will be heard!
