Katharine Scrivener

Attending the march in person could put my health at risk, so I’m joining in spirit as an advocate for those with pre-existing conditions. As a 32-year-old woman with cystic fibrosis, affordable access to healthcare is critical to my survival–and hundreds of thousands of others. I will continue to use my voice and my story to raise awareness for those of us whose lives have been protected by the ACA.

I collect books like some people collect shoes, and I have an abnormal obsession with Friday Night Lights (#teamriggins). When I’m not reading, I’m helping to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis, a disease I was diagnosed with at 16 years old. I live in Baltimore, MD with my husband and piles of books. You can find me on Twitter and Instagram at @katharinescriv, as well as The Bookly Club and FromAtoPink.
