Why I Am Joining The March : I’m joining because I care deeply about women’s access to healthcare and the ability to make decisions about their own bodies. Because I care about preventing violence against women. Because it’s unacceptable that women of color are many more times likely to be victims of violence and unequitable treatment. Because I care about education and the ability of children at the lowest socio-economic levels to have access to safe and good schools with teachers who are paid adequately. Because I cannot abide the idea that millions of Americans–many with disabilities and chronic illnesses–will be left without health insurance. Because this is #notmypresident.
