I am extremely worried about what could happen to my fellow disabled folks if the ACA is repealed, as going without health care is not an option for many. I really wanted to participate in the march in LA and show my solidarity for POC, women, and especially my fellow disabled peers, but unfortunately I know that marching would wreak havoc on the rest of my week due to my disability. I am ecstatic that the Disability March exists and hope that the sheer number of disabled people who want to participate will say something to legislators considering taking away the ACA. I also hope that this motivates people to write letters to their legislators and continues to mobilize those who are already active.
