Melissa

My body doesn’t always work the way I’d like it to, but my heart works just fine. In a time when our country is so divided, scared and angry, I hope to stand in the face of adversity and refuse to accept as inevitable the loss of empathy and compassion for those in our country who, for whatever reason, are marginalized and suffering. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. I’m here to fight.

I’m a graphic artist, business owner, mother, wife, cat snuggler and nerd. I have more disabilities than I can count, mostly invisible, and I struggle, especially to get the healthcare I need, but I’m still here and I’m still strong.
