REV. MG “Lupita” Alonso-Redondo

A woman in adaptive seating and a long-sleeve white blouse smiles at the camera. She is wearing glasses and a clergy cross around her neck.

Why I am joining the march:
I am a 2nd generation US citizen Latina, bi-cultural and bi-lingual who believes that persons with disabilities are persons of worth. I am also a woman of faith, courage and strength, a wife, a mother, a pastor and professional who happens to have a physical disability. I have worked since I was eighteen, and I am participating in this march because I want President Trump to know that persons with disabilities deserve respect – we don’t want pity or hand-downs, we want what we have earned through hard work and service to our communities.
