I have cystic fibrosis, an inherited disease that slowly destroys the lungs through repeated infections. There is no cure. I am unable to work because the medical treatments that keep me alive take up at least 4-5 hours of every day. I am unable to attend the march because the travel and the exposure to such large crowds would leave me vulnerable to dangerous infections. The ACA that protects people with pre-existing conditions and bans lifetime caps is crucial to the survival of many people with cystic fibrosis. I am marching to voice my support for the preservation of those protections. I am also marching to voice my support for the protection of hard won civil rights that I feel are threatened by this administration. We can’t go backwards.

I’m with you on this! I was unable to go as well because of my disease, interstitial cystitis, a painful bladder disease. But I hope that we will perservere. That’s a lovely picture btw.

I am disabled.I am a woman who deserves respect . I worked at a job for 30 years and paid my taxes to our country. I do not deserve a president who mocks me as a disabled woman. How did Trump fool people into believing he would get jobs for them?
For those of you who voted for Trump,I suggest you carefully look into his life and business and his company partners to see who they really are. You will see they are in power to make more power for themselves. Trump said Clinton cheated people by getting paid for public speaking engagements. Trump went to Russia,28 times to get financial backing for his properties. He has an Arab partner, a very wealthy Arab man, with family ties to the same people who bombed the World Trade Towers.
